May is celebrated as a time of creativity, passion and emergence — right at the convergence of the peak of spring and the beginning of summer — when we can ignite our unlimited power and wild radiance. It’s a time of birthing our magic and dreams into the world from a place of radical connection with self, nature, and a community of like-minded mamas. Indigenous women would intentionally gather around the light of a huge bonfire on the full moon in May to celebrate and call forth their creative, wild and untamed essence. This 3-day retreat will be an opportunity for you to let go of old versions of yourself, activate your primal sovereign power, and find a deep sense of clarity and purpose. All activities will be intentional and sacred – from yoga and meditation, hiking in the Garden of the Gods, soaking in the hot tubs overlooking Pike’s Peak and a sacred femininity workshop, to wine and cheese on the patio, stargazing in the meditation garden, completed with nightly soulful discussions and music around the fire. Each mama will receive the guidance and support needed to restore personal balance and ignite more creativity and passion into her life as a mother and sovereign woman.
Accommodations & Amenities
Join us for a 3-day immersion in the magic of Manitou Springs amidst the Onaledge Historic Lodge settled just under the Garden of the Gods. Manitou Springs sits on ancient native American healing grounds that rest atop a rare karst aquifer. Nestled in foothills at the base of Tava, also called Pike’s Peak or “America’s Mountain), Manitou Springs is known for its drinkable mineral springs waters that pop up throughout downtown. An architectural gem of The Arts & Crafts era, Onaledge was built in 1912 with a Tudor-style exterior made of Manitou greenstone and stucco. Boasting stone hearths, decorative metal features and cathedral ceilings with archways, guests will enjoy the wrap-around deck and surrounding tree/rock/ledge-scapes just under vast views of Pike’s Peak. This one of a kind retreat center will draw you into yourself as if you’ve traveled to another country — offering the spaciousness and silence you need to return to your essence and appreciate the small moments. With an eight-person hot tub, fully equipped kitchen, dining hall, 8 bedrooms, 5 baths, wrap-around deck, stunning views, and old-world charm, this is our perfect re-connection destination.

Rooms have varied accommodations ranging from one king bed to two king beds to two daybeds to four beds in a room. If you would like to share a king bed or a room with your friends, please notify Mothers Moving Mountains.

Location
Onaledge Historic Lodge is located in Manitou Springs next to the Garden of the Gods and close to Pike’s Peak, Cave of the Winds, the Manitou Cliff Dwellings and several hiking, running and biking trails.
Getting There
It takes approximately 1.5 hours to get there from Denver. If you want to carpool with other participants, please notify Mothers Moving Mountains. .
Terms and Conditions
Upon booking, a non-refundable deposit of $250 will be collected. All cancellations must be in writing. For cancellations received at least forty-five (45) days prior to the first day of the Retreat (“Retreat Commencement”), MMM will provide a full refund minus the $250 non-refundable deposit. For cancellations received at least thirty (30) days prior to the Retreat Commencement, MMM will provide a 50% refund minus the $250 non-refundable deposit. No refunds will be provided for cancellations less than thirty (30) days prior to the Retreat Commencement. Transfers may be accepted in MMM’s sole discretion, but at a minimum must be submitted to MMM in writing at least sixty (60) days prior to the Retreat Commencement. Please read the Terms and Conditions thoroughly prior to registration. Upon booking, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set forth.
